The Planning Development and Special Initiatives Department and the Department of Economics and Statistics, Government of TamilNadu, has proposed to celebrate “3rd World Statistics Day” on 20th October, 2020 under the theme “Connecting the World with Data we can trust” and the events has been organised from 19th to 21st October 2020 Virtually.
Hon’ble Minister for Co-operation, Statistics and Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Tamil Nadu will inaugurate the session and the Chief Secretary to Government, Tamil Nadu will deliver the Special Address. Sessions on varied topics are to be presented by senior bureaucrats of the State and Central Government, Academicians, etc. It is also planned for Live Streaming of the inaugural function on YouTube.
