Japan launches promotional video featuring WSD 2020

In Japan, the Office of the Director-General for Policy Planning on Statistical Standards, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) have launched the promotional video featuring WSD 2020 on the Statistics Bureau YouTube Channel. The video highlights importance of Japan’s statistical system. The video includes messages from the Head of the NSO and experts, including the current Chair of the Statistical Commission, Mr. Shigeru Kawasaki, who talks about the World Statistics Day, the Commission, and their important work. The video is available with English subtitles.
