The Bahrain Statistical Society (BSS), a professional non-for-profit, non-political, non-religious organization, is planning to celebrate the World Statistics Day (WSD) on 20th October 2020 in response to the United Nations call. The coming virtual celebration will be in the form of a Panel Discussion by 4 panelist for two hours. The panel discussion is on “Connecting the World with Data We Can Trust” and covering the following topics:

1. Statisticians and Data Scientists Roles and Utilization
2. Examples of Connecting World with Trusted Data
3. How to apply the concept of Connecting World with Trusted Data in Bahrain and GCC region.

This virtual panel discussion brings perspectives and participants together from: Government, Private Sector, Higher Education Institution (university) and an NGO.
